Ooltewah High School 

Students,

We want to be the first to welcome you to Ooltewah High School’s Ninth Grade Academy! We are very excited that you will be part of the 2009-2010 Freshman Academy.

We know that coming to high school can be a bit intimidating and create some anxiety, but DON”T WORRY! We understand all that you are feeling. Our goal the first couple of weeks is to make your transition to high school personable and as smooth as possible. You will make many new friends at Owl Camp and build relationships with your teachers that will enhance your success as a freshman. Most of all you will have FUN!

As an academy we have high expectations for all in academics, attitude, and attendance. This requires determination and discipline, but we are confident that you can meet this standard of excellence.

 Realizing that a successful high school experience begins as a freshman and being committed to you getting off to a terrific start, please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.  We are here for you.
